Snug Falls – 1:30 PM SUNDAY 11 July 2021

Not far south of Kingston in the hills behind Snug, Snug Falls is a beautiful waterfall above a picturesque narrow river gorge. This short winter walk  of 1.5 km each way is along a track that descends to the base of the waterfall, which will hopefully have a strong flow to add to the spectacle. The track descends 100 metres altitude over a little more than 1 km, and can be slippery and muddy at times, with a few rough sections – a typical Tasmanian bushwalk! The short distance makes it suitable for less experienced walkers and younger children, but much too rough for strollers and bikes. Join us for lunch in Snug (TBC) at 12:30 before the walk.
